Do you like action and horror films?

Then you should watch the film Underworld.

The film is about a war of vampires and lycanthropes. The vampire Selene (Kate Beckinsale) is motivated because lycanthropes slaughtered her family when she was a child.

The leader of lycanthropes is Lucian and he must kill the survivors of a war of the past, Viktor and Markus. He investigated hybrids (mixture of vampires and lycanthropes).

Selene determines that the lycanthropes may have been following a human, Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman) and continues her investigation about the plans of her enemies.

Underworld is a good film and has got a very good plot. If you like fantastic films I think you should see it.

Narrative

This narrative tells the story of Amanda, an English girl who claims to have seen UFOS.
One Thursday afternoon when Amanda came out drama classes, there appeared a kind of plane that gave off plenty of light.
London streets were dark but you could see that the sky was dear, so it was easier to see the flying object.
She decided to go to where the kind of plane had landed.
When Amanda arrived she realized that there were aliens.
They were wearing a tight one-piece uniform.
Suddenly, one of those aliens said:
-"We have been waiting Amanda."
And then a light that nearly blinded her swallowed and she appeared in a room full of computers.
Then, these aliens approached her and touched her, and suddenly she appeared in front of the theatre, but her body was not the same, something had changed.

The Mountain Gorilla: An endangered animal

In this picture we can see Mountain Gorilla in the forest or jungle.
It is looking at the camera.

Some mammals are becoming extinct in our modern world. The Mountain Gorilla, for example, is one of the most endangered gorillas.

The Mountain Gorilla is a big animal. It weighs about 200 kilograms. It is black and brown and it lives on the mountains of Africa. It is gentle and it doesn't hunt other animals. It eats leaves, fruit and flowers.

Why is the Mountain Gorilla endangered? The Mountain Gorilla has got a beautiful and valuous fur, so hunters kill it and sell its fur.
In conclusion, if people don't buy its fur, hunters will not hunt it and the Mountain Gorilla will not be and endangered animal any more.

Final Reflection 2009 - 2010

My name is Mireia and I explain about this year in the English subject.

In this year we work for Comenius and we work in the other activities, for example:
-Create a blog
-Upload a personal presentation in the blog.
-Sing with the class a christmas songs.
-Talk about my favourite song in the blog.
-etc.

My oral activity (power point) I did it with Mònica Sabata and we are very happy with the town.
I read my notes because I was very nervous.

I learnt in this year but for me is very difficult and I need help but I don't ask.
I am not the best student in the English subject but I make am effort and I like English and learnt this subject.

The English is very essencial to travel in the world.

Childhood Memories

I remember my child life.
I was very shy, I never spoke with my family but when I was 5 years old I spoke to everyone.

When I was 8 years my parents were divorced and my brother and I were very sad.
My family were very calm but when my cousin was born this calm disappeared.

One day I escaped from my house and the boyfriend of my mother found me.

I liked going to adventure with my friends.
Every weekend I want to my father's house, but when I was very young I didn't like going to this house.

I prefer my childhood life, when I was very happy and very good.

PREDICTIONS

As everyone, I will change a lot in 20 years.
Physically I imagine a little thinner and I was also taller.
At the moment, my personality changes a lot.
In 20 years, I will have improved as a person and my personality will be changed to positive and good person.
In 20 years I will live in a house, not a flat. I'll have two daughters and one son. I'll be married with a man who will love me. I'll go out with my friends. I'll help my mum if she needs it.
I will work as a journalist who travels around the world. When I was little this I was my dream.
My hobbies will be singing, dancing and do sport. I won't smoke so I can say that I will have a healthy life.

Catalan Salat / Ensalada Catalana / Amanida Catalana

COOK TIME: 15 minutes
LEVEL: Easy
INGREDIENTS:-Lettuce
-Tomatoes
-Olives
-Red pepper.
-Curly endive
-Onion
-cured meat typical from Catalonia (fueat, llonganissa, bull blanc, bull negre, ham)
-Oil ( the cured meat).

1-First, wash the lettuce and the tomatoes.
2- Then cut little pieres the lettuce and the tomatoes.
3-After that,decorate the dish. Win all the ingredients.
4-Finally, add salt, oil and vinegar to the lettuces, tomatoes, pepper and onion.

STORY

It was a dark and stormy night when I listened a noise. I went to the window and I saw a raven. It was staring with me and I fell on the floor because I was frightened, when I stood up and I saw the window but there wasn't anybody. I went to the street and there wasn't rain, later I went to the garden and suddenly appeared a black cat and it ran inside the forest. I was surprise and I pursuing the black and mysterious cat. At this moment I didn't see everythink because It was dark and foggy. Suddenly I saw a light and the cat. It was transformed into a ravento stay on the window to look at the garden.

My name is Mireia and I am fourteen years old.
My parents are divorced and for me the beginning it was very hard but now I'm happy.
I have a brother and he is five years (he is nineteen years old). Is always bothering me, but I know he does to cheer me up when I am wrong.
I live in Berga, but on weekends I go to my father's house which is in l'Ametlla de Merola.
During weekdays I go to school to study like all the people of my age and on weekends I watch basketball and football match.
I love singing, dancing and writing but I do not do it very well.
I don't like running, doing my homework and studying.
My life is sometimes a little stressed.
